First of all: Leishmaniasis is NOT CURABLE!!! It can be "controlled" with the right combination of therapies.

Diagnosis (vet): Leishmaniasis "positive", suspected babesiosis, platelet deficiency, elevated kidney values
Laboratory: Kidney value check (UP/C and SDMA, urea, creatinine), antibody (AK) detection: Leishmania, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Rickettsia, PCR: Babesia, urine sediment (crystal formation due to allopurinol)
MEDICATION FROM THE VET: ALLOPURINOL - THESE SHOULD NOT BE DISCONTINUED UNCONTROLLED - RISK OF RENEWED OUTBREAK WITH SEVERE COURSE

Braco came healthy and tested "negative" for all Mediterranean diseases (MMK) from Croatia to his family here in Germany in 2020.
In April 2022 he was really weak for several days and when he also had a nosebleed, the vet checked his "MMK" again.
DIAGNOSIS: LEISHMANIOSIS "POSITIVE".
A BLOOD-PARASITE that destroys the red blood cells and is fatal if left untreated.
You couldn't tell how seriously ill Braco actually was at the time!
He had a massive loss of white blood cells (poor immune defense), very few platelets (leads to bleeding -> nosebleeds in Braco) and his ANTIBODIES were STRONGLY INCREASED. This is acutely dangerous for the kidneys.
As "TIERHEILPRAKTIKERIN FÜR ALLE FELLE", I researched specialist literature, registered in forums and contacted experts - in order to adapt my ADDITIONAL THERAPY APPROACH perfectly to Braco's needs.
Since May 2022, his urine has been closely monitored in the laboratory - to "keep an eye on his kidneys".
His mum has received an exact daily plan with HERBAL and VITAL MUSHROOM CURES from me.
Braco has to take MEDICATION (Allopurinol) daily and his FOOD has been changed.

This week I took another BLOOD sample and sent it to a lab and the result looks much better (than in April and June! :)
Braco's owner Steffi, her family and I are super relieved and hope that we can keep the values "under control" for as long as possible.
For Braco, this means giving regular blood and urine samples, almost like a professional athlete. At home, he takes it all in his stride.

The blood and urine values are so consistently SUPER that we are "phasing out" Allopurinol. CHECK-UP IN 3 MONTHS!
